Most often, your first training
session will be held at your home to address any issues you may be
having in your home environment. Here, we learn the most important
commands you desire your dog to understand and respond to. As well as any commands that may be needed in order for your personal training goals to be achieved.
Once your priorities at home have been addressed, we typically meet in a public place to proof your dog‘s
new commands around real life distractions. This allows us to make sure
he/she is able to respond to their commands in any environment they may
be taken. This allows them to have new and exciting experiences with
their beloved humans.
After your public training, you and your dog will be invited to attend group class outings with other amazing clients and their dogs who have also had private training. Attending these super fun outings allow great practice and good repetition to keep your dog‘s training sharp. As I have the very best clients on earth, this is also a great way to meet other amazing dog people and form new friendships and bonds for both you and your dog. We are very supportive of each other.
If you have an issue that arises in the future, I am here to help!
If it is not something that can be addressed through a phone call, or
group class, I will come back out and address the issue in person within
the first year of training.
